Graduated from Crawford College of Art and Design, 1987; completed BA in Archaeology at University College Cork, 1995; received MA in Fine Art Sculpture from Winchester College of Art and Design, 1999.
Ben has work in private collections in Ireland, England and The Netherlands, and in the public collections of U.C.C.; U.C.D.; MTU, Tralee; Office of the Mayor of Rennes, France; Crawford Municipal Gallery, Cork; Bank of Ireland, Dublin; Eli Lilly, Cork; Dublin O.P.W.; President’s Office, Phoenix Park, Dublin; The Granary Theatre, Cork; Waterford Gallery of Art; and South Eastern Technological University (SETU) - Xcelerate Building, Waterford.
In addition, Ben has worked as a film projectionist for Triskel Art Centre, Cork and for the Cork Film festival (1988-1995). He has worked as an archaeologist from 1991 to 2003 in Cork (city and county), Kerry and Wexford. Ben is currently a Fine Art lecturer at SETU, Waterford.
